Rules
TopStay.lol is a public leaderboard for places to stay. No commissions. No mysterious algorithm. Want a higher spot? Just outbid the other stays and claim top bunk. Rank is the bid — nothing else.
How ranking works
- Bids are whole US dollars. New stays start at $5, raise $1 at a time, and cap at $999,999. A listing keeps its amount until it is raised or outranked.
- Taking #1 costs at least $1 more than the current top bid. Bidding less still puts you on the board at whatever place that amount can take.
- Equal bids stay in the order they were placed — the older bid keeps the higher rank.
- Enter the same property URL again to raise that listing. You only pay the difference, and nobody else can take your rank by paying that difference.
- URLs are normalized, so the same property is always the same listing. Tracking query strings are ignored.
What you can list
- A place people can actually stay: hotels, inns, cabins, resorts, glamping sites, campgrounds, vacation rentals, and similar.
- The link must point to the property's own booking or information page. Affiliate, referral, and link-shortener URLs are not allowed.
- Adult content, chat and invite links, and unrelated products are not allowed.
- Listings must be accurate. Misleading names, photos, or locations can be removed.
Categories and location
Every listing gets a stay type and, where provided, a country, state or region, city, and county. That is what powers the category chips and the map. If a listing is filed under the wrong type, reach out and we will fix it.
After you pay
- Your listing is public and clicks go straight to the URL you submitted.
- A completed payment is what claims the rank. Payments are not refundable.
- Paying means you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy.
