Privacy Policy

Effective August 24, 2026. This policy covers TopStay.lol, operated by Beloved Ventures LLC dba Beloved Hospitality.

What we collect

• Listing details you submit: property URL, name, stay type, description, photo URL, and location. This is public the moment it is on the board.
• Metadata we fetch for you: when you submit a URL we request that public page and may store its title, description, image, location, and any star rating it publishes.
• Payment records: amount, time, resulting rank, and a processor reference. Card numbers are handled entirely by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
• Anonymous activity: counts of page visits and of clicks on listings. Counts only — no names, no profiles, no cross-site tracking.
• Basic server logs: standard request logs kept briefly for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.

What we deliberately do not collect

No accounts or passwords. No advertising or social pixels. No cross-site or cross-device profiles. No selling or renting of data to anyone, ever. No purchase of third-party audience data about you.

How we use it

To display and order the leaderboard, show click and visit counts, process payments, detect and prevent abuse and fraud, respond to your requests, and understand overall usage of the site. That's the whole list.

Who we share it with

Listing information is public by design. Beyond that, we share data only with the vendors needed to operate the site, and only as needed: our hosting and edge provider, our database and backend provider, our payment processor, our email provider where we reply to you, and an AI provider used to read a submitted page's own text when structured details are missing. We may also disclose information where legally required or to protect our rights.

Retention

Listings and bid history are the public record of ranking, so they are retained for as long as the board exists. Payment records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Server logs are kept for a short operational window. Anonymous counts are aggregate and are not tied to a person.

Your requests

You can ask us to correct your listing details, hide or remove your listing, or tell you what we hold about a listing you control. Contact @heisnathan. Because there are no accounts, we may ask you to demonstrate control of the listing's domain. Removing a listing does not entitle you to a refund — see Terms.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage for two things: remembering your light or dark theme choice, and avoiding double-counting a visit. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

TopStay.lol is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us and we will remove it.

International transfers

The site is operated from the United States and our vendors may process data there. By using the site you understand your information may be processed in the US.
